Review
VENGENCE HITS HOME
I can't believe it but this just hit a home run. I mean please no more Fast & Furious movies. The film has all of what you expect from a fast and furious movie and more, they won the race.
The Film is set after the events of Tokyo drift and one of their own is dead and the other is in the hospital. They have to track down a hacker named Ramsey to help them catch Shaw and avenge Han.
The opening of the film with Jason Statham blowing up a hospital was so much fun to watch, he doesn't ham it up in this movie but dang his villain is one of the most fun things about this movie I want to see Statham play more villains.
This is the most fun you'll get in the series so far, its like they raise the stakes higher with cars in midair twice in this movie which is the moments where your jaw will just drop to the ground like "Holy shit, they just did that." I'd see the next one to see what other crazy antics they got for these characters but dang It I don't want another one because the over the top action is just shut the front door style action.
The theme for this Fast & Furious which is appropriate due to the passing of one of the main cast who has been apart of the series since the beginning, Paul Walker. Even the villain is trying to take that from them.
The performances is just as great as it was in the last movie, heck actually better thanks to no Gal Gadot who can't act. Tyresse Gibson was making me laugh my ass off. I don't know what they did when it came to the passing of Paul situation all I know is that they stopped production and I think one of his brothers to do some reshoots and he was in the last minute movie, I think that was him.
The direction from James Wan who is most famous from his work on some of my favorite horror films such as The Conjuring and the first Saw, is what makes this film along with the cast and action. I wouldn't mind if they do decide to make another one(which they shouldn't) if they brought him back, but he better make Conjuring 2 and some other horror projects.
Furious 7 high speeds with over the top action, great acting, good plot, and direction with heart for what the series has become since these last three movies. It's not based comic or novel just characters created from another director and it's the best in the series since Five, and the best action movie that isn't based on preexisting material, and I shed one tear so I'm giving Furious 7 a four and a half out of five.
